With the first few sips the tea is bold in taste and reaches every part of the mouth. Although the taste is quite similar to its aroma and isn’t too complex, it’s very pleasing as the taste lingers on and on. The extreme aftertaste, which seems never ending, is my favorite part of this tea. Also, if one desires a darker tea in the summer, this is a good choice as it does not heat the body to any extreme.
Note: I I fell in love with this tea before I started this website... I was hesitant to sell this tea as it is well known that WuYi Yancha are not commonly compressed and this cake is certainly not DaHongPao (as stated on its label), I decided to carry it simply because I fell in love with it… so why not share the love?!
